Wednesday Night Parenting Class

  • Belle Meade UMC (Room 218) 121 Davidson Road Nashville, TN, 37205 United States (map)

Parents and caregivers are invited to join us on Wednesdays, April 10, April 17, and May 1 from 6:00-7:00 PM for a 3 week study as we discover together how to create lasting faith in children and teens. Research shows that almost half of graduating high school seniors struggle deeply with their faith and many leave behind their faith as they enter college. The authors of "Sticky Faith” have pinpointed faith formation practices that set children and youth up for faith that sticks. The importance of this topic can not be overstated for parents and a church that has committed to nurture our children and teens towards deep and lasting faith. This study is ideal for parents of children or teens, grandparents or anyone who is passionate about nurturing young disciples. During the three week class we will be working through the insights from the book "Sticky Faith" and looking at ways that we can incorporate these faith formation practices in our homes and church.  Email Pastor Gracie Dugan, gracie@bellemeadeumc.org, if you plan to join us or would like to purchase the book (optional) for $10.
