This Good Friday we are joining in a community worship service with seven other churches. The service is built around the 7 last words of Jesus. Each congregation’s pastor will offer a reflection and their choir an anthem. The service will be approximately 80 minutes in length. Worship will begin at 6pm at Gordon Memorial UMC at 2334 Herman St, Nashville, TN 37208 and will be live streamed to Facebook for those who want to attend virtually. There will also be a light reception and fellowship at 5:00 pm for our congregations to spend time together. The building is handicap accessible, and the church bus will be available. The bus will leave at 5:15pm. Email steve@bellemeadeumc.org to reserve your spot on the bus. Further, BMUMC’s Sanctuary will be open from 12:00-12:30 on Good Friday for prayer, reflective music and contemplation.
