Giving at Belle Meade UMC

Joyfull: A Generous and Abundant Life

2024 Stewardship Campaign

We are full of joy for the many ways God has been working through Belle Meade UMC!

  • Sensory Easter and Sensory Santa: 26 children with special sensory needs and their families experienced holiday festivities in safe and fun environments.

  • Camp Belle Meade: Our inaugural Camp Belle Meade provided high-quality 11 weeks of summer camp for 88 kids in Kindergarten - 3rd Grade, many of whom came to more than one camp week.

  • Worship Without Walls: 180 people participated in Worship Without Walls the Sunday after Easter to complete 12 projects across the city.

  • Good Friday Service: We teamed up with 6 other UMCs and 1 Episcopal church for a powerful worship service at Gordon Memorial UMC.

  • Covenant School Response: We responded to the tragic events at Covenant School by marching to the capitol, calling and writing legislators, offering care to Covenant families, and hosting Care. Learn. Do. A community conversation on gun safety.

  • Hillwood Summer Pantry: Through our partnership with H.G. Hill Middle and the West Meade community, we helped run the Hillwood Summer Pantry, distributing $35,000 in groceries (provided by Cigna Healthy Kids grant) and 10,000 diapers (provided by Nashville Diaper Connection). Over 45 BMUMC volunteers participated, including children, youth, and adults.

  • New Members: 34 visitors officially joined the church this year bringing 12 children and 2 youth!

When we take our vows of membership in the United Methodist Church, we commit to serving our congregation through our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness. Many of us find that in giving our time, gifts, and resources, we experience the joy of the living God. In giving, we truly receive.

We have several ways in which you may give your gifts to the church.

In Worship

You may give your check or cash donation as part of worship.

Online Giving

We have two options for online giving.

Using Venmo

Venmo is an app that allows you to pay or receive funds from anyone else who has the app without transaction fees. Our Venmo name is @bellemeadeumc. This works great for Sunday tithes & offerings, Wednesday night dinners, altar flower dedications, Mosaics events, etc.

Using Vanco

Through our secure server, you may make either a one-time gift or set up a recurring gift. This option is great for those that wish to setup a monthly or weekly tithe without having to remember to do each time. Please note that you may select between two payment options of ACH/checking or debit/credit. Since the debit/credit option does incur fees for the church, where we would kindly ask you to consider using the ACH/checking option when giving in this manner.

By Mail

You may mail your donation directly to the church by using the following address.
